Lemony Pro is a suite of professional subtitling tools.It enables video  professionals, content developers, translators, authoring facilities,  and subtitling service bureaus to create, check, convert and output  subtitles.

Interface  Multi-project environment allows to work with several  projects at the same time. WYSIWYG subtitle preview over the video,  including full alpha channel. Subtitles can be displayed and edited as a  list and/or timeline. In timeline mode subtitles can be visually  adjusted against a waveform.  Multi-threaded preview makes a responsive  interface in multi-core computers. Customizable shortcuts. Any command  can have a shortcut assigned. Support for docked windows. Compatible  with external shuttle/jog controls. All windows are resizable, to take  advange of large displays.
 
Languages  Multi-track projects. Integrate different languages in the  same project. Full Unicode support. Including surrogate pairs and  ligatures. Left-to-right, right-to-left and vertical scripts are  supported and can be mixed in the same text. Full furigana/rubi support,  boten and Tate naka yoko. Import and export subtitles in any installed  code page. Including rtf, doc and docx files.
