Kodak Vision 3 is really lovely and perfect material to shoot motion pictures on. Using the same material to shoot still frames also, is an idea, which is coming up quite fast, if you get in touch with the look of movies like "The Hateful Eight" or "La La Land". Both films were shot on Kodak Vision3 250D 5207/7207 Neg. Film.

Luckily for us CineStill was invented and produces the perfect material for shooting stills based on Kodak Vision 3. From this point on, it was possible to create color profiles, which modulate the colors of any camera in an ideal way, to build a color look in Adobe Lightroom, which looks mostly like Kodak Vision 3.

THE CLASSIC ECN-2 50D

This preset recreates the look and feel of the CineSTill 50D, which is used to shoot during daylight situations (5500K). It is based on the Kodak Vision 3 with a native sensitivity of ISO 50. Its subtle grain and delightful sharpness makes it a perfect choice for landscape and portrait photography.

THE CLASSIC ECN-2 800T
The 800T is inspired by by the CineStill 800T. This highly sensitive film is also based on the Kodak Vision 3. However, its sensitivity of ISO 200 to 1600 can even be pushed up to ISO 3200 which creates a unique contrast. Originally this film was used in tungsten situations (3200K), but nevertheless its specific characteristics can be affected by using a colour filter – this allows us to use it in daylight situations without creating unpleasant colours. With this preset and its variable settings you are ready for every light situation from day to night.
